PANELCORE® A2
PANELCORE® A2 is a Aluminium Corrugated Core Composite Panel.
PANELCORE® A2 is a 4 mm aluminium composite panel comprising aluminium face sheets bonded to a corrugated aluminium core. The Mulford cladding configuration uses a nominal 0.70 mm external aluminium face sheet and 0.50 mm rear aluminium face sheet. Its all aluminium core construction contains no thermoplastic core material.
The composite construction provides a lightweight, rigid and flat architectural panel suitable for fabrication into façade cassettes and other external cladding applications. PANELCORE® A2 can be installed using Mulford’s FAB (Façade A & B) carrier and fixing system, which has been subjected to full scale façade testing in accordance with AS/NZS 4284:2008.

- AS/NZS 4284 tested façade performance – SLS wind ±2.5 kPa, ULS wind ±3.6 kPa and ULS seismic movement ±40mm each direction for 10 cycles
- Following seismic testing, an additional 4.0 kPa wind pressure test was applied with no damage observed
- A2-s1,d0 classification to EN 13501-1:2018 for the tested aluminium core board sample*
- Available in architectural finishes and colours subject to the Mulford PANELCORE A2 range
